Yes blogster.. the DJ gave us that name..

Ya lah laff all u want man.. but we ROCKED the wedding bells ok!! Fooo.. gerek gilllllleeeerrrrr!~~!~

Haddad's bro, Haiz, is a close friend of the bride who is Farahzian or whom some of us would recognize her as the girl who played the kucing Mat Yoyo.. Yes she's the character we would enjoy watching on "Aksi Mat Yoyo" channel SBC all the time masa kecik kecik dulu.. Tak jemu kan?~ Dudok depan depan tv tengok ni programme.. kalau dorang joget kiter pon diri depan tv ikot joget seh.. kk anyway.. Skarang dier dah besar tau..abeh skarang dier dah kahwin ngan jejaka idaman nya.. abehtu untuk dier peh wedding dier jemput kiter nye band perform ah pat sana.. So ape lagi seh... takkan tanak lepaskan ni peluang?!?! Wedding tau!!! Komfim gerek nye wohooo!!

So the past few days of da past week, a few members of SSP consisting of Jihad, Shamil, Haddad, Khairul, and me, jammed at Wee Lee Serangoon. Chose a few songs that we liked.. Quando quando quando, When you say nothing at all, Bukan Kerna Nama, Berhenti Berharap, Hidup Bersama, La Obe,plus Cenderawasih and Belaian Jiwa in acoustic version. Practice practice pun perit jugak seh kadang kadang.. asik kene kluar duit.. abeh can only jam after work at 6.. balik asik lambat je.. Dah balik kene blaja lagu pulak.. mmm ingat senang ke?~ kadang kadang sesak ler~~ =p O yea.. Farah came down to one of our jam sessions.. actually we thot she was abit dissapointed with our performance but Haddad said she felt that we're gonna do a good show on Sunday..so yeah..didnt wanna let her down man..

Came by her place on Saturday evening to check it out.. ahai..datang je leh dgr lagu dangdut seh!! In my head was like.."aiii~~ dangdut?~" Hahaha..somehow her mom has a karaoke club with a few friends and they love dangdut.. one of the khakis was Shamil's makcik seh!!! Hahaha...stengah jalan dier tengah nyanyi skali dier ternampak Sham.. "Eh Shamil?! Ape kau buat pat sini? Eh anak sedara aku!!!" hahahaha... Sayaaaaang makcik ngan Shamil eh =p
K anyway.. We plugged in the equipment and played a few pieces just to test the sound and stuff.. felt good..so den we hanged out wif Farah, den left the place for the jam studio at Simei for one last session..

Then Sunday came... *jeng jeng jeng~~*

Pagi pagi datang terus set up..den buat satu sound check.. ok ok ah.. O ya.. we all had to wear something like smart casual ah.. kalau tak dah pakai jeans ngan t-shirt je.. Shamil pakai baju ada tribal tattoo seh.. ala tak crewet lah~ K..then lepas buat sound check..da DJ asked for our name.. alaahai selama ni tak terfikir seh pasal nama band.. ala bedal je ah bang DJ.. ape nak kasi pon kasi je lah.. tak crewet~ =p

During the 1 o'clock slot, we played Hidup Bersama, Quando, and Bukan Kerna Nama.. i think it was ok ah..just to get the guest warmed up..coz b4 dat it was all dangdut =p
Then for the 3 o'clock slot we played the songs in acoustic, Belaian Jiwa, Cenderawasih, and When you say nothing at all.. During the 1st 2 songs i think the crowd suddenly crowded the performing area and was like mesmerized by who else but Khai =p... ala dier step malu but really he got the crowd man.. dier kalau nyanyi eh.. lelaki pon leh steam kodok seh.. But yeah..i really really think we sounded gorgeously good when we played in acoustic..very relaxing.. couple sumer leh jiwa jiwa seh.. errr *ehem* but that's beside the point ryte..so ANYWAY~ after that we rested for sometime pat abwah blok b4 the 5 o'clock slot..

The last slot, so Haddad took da mic to wish the newlyweds "Selamat Pengantin Baru".. and then we played Berhenti Berharap.. Emo gillllleeerrrrr seyyyy!!! Mak ai.. Most of the song was played in acoustic only until da last few part..so i'z practically sitting at da side with Najib..releek minom air sumer step enjoy lagu, until Sham signalled me to go sit at the bloddy drum set.. Yeah den after that song..Khai announced to the crowd that we're gonna play a medly of Hidup Bersama and La Obe to finish the show off with a bang..and somehow i felt so hyped to play that piece.. my favourite seh!! And boy did it really bang man!!! Lagu dah lah rancak gilllerr, so during the song si Khai and Haddad gi jemput pengantin bangun dari dais and down to the performing area jadi leh joget..k ah actually dorang paksa ah, langsung tak jemput seh =p ape lagi...terus all the newlywed's friends from nowhere ran into the centre of the performing area and started dancing and twisting and doing the swim..my gawwd... AH-GO-GO seh!!! Macam PESTA MUDA MUDI!! Ape lagi..kiter pon enjoy lah.. i think i messed up my hair playing n shaking my head all da way..

Wow~...it was really something man.. to the guys.. Jihad Shamil Haddad Khai..it was a great show so kudos to us man.. Tanx for everything =)

To the newlyweds Kak Farah and Abang Farok, Selamat Pengantin Baru , and i pray that the two of you will have a beautiful life together wif many many many Farah and Farok Juniors yeah!!!

To Izzati Huda and Najib, tanx for coming down and supporting us man.. =) tak luper sama members hehehe..

To Huda nye abang..tanx for lending me da drumset..hehe kiter jaga seh tu drumset..

And lastly.. i thank God for lending me this talent n passion..

The " Ritz Boys Band " will have a performance on Wednesday for some event at SP's Vanda Room...so wait up for the update on that one ey..
