Remember the lions..

When i look at them, i see myself back then..
Back with the old lions
All raw and ready to go
Just give us a prey
And we'll sharpen our claws for a kill

I remember the days, we'd stay over till late
Keeping it going, for a dream we seek to fulfill
We didn't see ourselves as top dogs or hotshots
Rather.. we just wanted to givit a shot..
Who knows...

Strangers one another.. i remembered how it was
I didnt know Najib could act
Knew nuts bout Khai
And didnt know how serious Jad could be
The rest i knew fairly..
But what's thought to be of strangers
Bloomed out into a family we could only love for..

The beauty of it...
Didn't matter if we were raw without big help
We just stuck together and dragged each other further
Turned out better than expected, we just keep getting better
Like sand to jewel... awesome~
There were no individuals.. Just one family..
One goal and one passion..
That's what kept us going..

And now the pride is passing..
The cubs are here..
How i see so much of us in them..
Like the old lions, each and everyone is diffrent
One to compliment the other..
Each day that we spend together, we got closer
Without realising it, we open up slowly
And we share our strengths..

But cubs being cubs, they're a playful bunch
Always up to nonsense here and there..
I get headaches trying to make them sit still
But i guess that's the way it should be..
Coz i remembered, i was a bad bad cub back then.. =p
Just ask Izzati, she would kill herself just to get me to listen
And to get me to sit still and shut up..
Hahaha, that's another task for her..

Hai... what u give is what u get..
Yea i'm certainly getting the feel of that..

My dear cubs.. i see you guys up there..
Just like the old lions..
From mere scratch, lets work our way up
The family is just about to grow..
You guys are 3rd generation felines man..
Just remember...
Whatever we do, keep our nose down
That means don't be "anggek" lah bodoh~
Respect each and everyone..
